2017 March Down South

March Down South 2017 Highlights by Josh Wolff
When I think of spring in Florida, I think of March Down South. For those who may not know what that is, March Down South is a day where all the Tampa Bay area fellowships get together to play some pasture ball, eat some great BBQ, and have a wonderful fellowship. It's such a great way to spend time with believers and to hear some awesome Word. This year Steve Spaulding taught on how the Lord is our helper. Hebrews 4:16 tells us that we can boldly go to God in any time of need. What a great reminder!
The pasture ball game is always a highlight. I had the privilege of announcing the game again this year and boy is that a lot of fun. This year we added a raffle ticket contest, with the winner getting to announce an inning with Jordan and I. Gabe Fick was our winner and he stole the show with his amazing mic skills. We need to make him a permanent part of the announcing crew. I haven't even mentioned the actual game, which was a lot of fun, and ended in a tie!
It's such a blessing to get together with everyone at Colt Creek State Park and just enjoy a day fellowshipping and having fun. See you at March Down South 2018!
